KC2WI - - Kenwood TS-120 for sale --
In good mechanical condition but no frequency display, no RX or TX. The dots on the display light up, but no digits, so I believe the display is good and I'm pretty sure the problem is in the VFO or LO. Since this is a good old-fashioned analog radio it should be easy to fix. The radio has not been used in some time and the problem may simply be poor contact on a connector and/or ground. This is a common problem with the 120 and 130, easily fixed. But I have not found the time to get into it.

*update June 2011: I had a lower posted price but a technically-competent friend says he thinks we can fix it without too much trouble and convinced me not to sell it too cheaply. These radios in good condition typically sell for around $250 on eBay. I think it is a relatively easy fix and even if I sent it out for rerpair it would not cost that much. So rather than losing money I'm inclined to hold on to it for a while, until I get time to look at it. However, for the sake of having one less pending project I'm willing to sell it and take some loss over my purchase price. If you are interested, please contact me. If you are interested, you can make an offer and I'll let you know if and when I decide to sell. I might be interested in a trade/partial trade for and IC-703, FT-817, Alinco EDX-2 random wire tuner, 2m or dual-band mobile, or antenna analyzer.
